Nippon Steel has extended its timeline to close the $14.9 billion deal for Pittsburgh-based United States Steel Corp. The deal, announced Dec. 18, has drawn controversy from the beginning.

The space is about 60% larger than Top Pot's existing warehouse facility in Tukwila, its CEO says.

Called The Fednt Lodge, named after a brand of farm equipment AGCO makes, the new building is designed to host customer visits, launch events, dealer meetings and corporate gatherings, an announced said on Friday.

The defense giant had offered to buy the financially struggling company's shares.

Quad/Graphics had held a stake in this company for 12 years before now divesting it.
