How to repair chipped rubber seal in washing machine

How to remove stain from door?

New rental

We're moving into our new rental and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how I could cover this up to make a functional desk in my son's room. Otherwise he won't have room for a desk and needs somewhere to put his monitor and laptop. Any suggestions would be appreciated (and premade items are highly appreciated as I'm really not that handy 😂)...

Renovation?

Bit of a long shot here, I have no construction knowledge so obviously not a DIY project but does anyone know the feasibility of turning this little side porch (connects to the living room) into more interior space. Theoretically I’d like to walk off the patio and connect it to the living room just for more space, would this be feasible, or just expensive...

DIY or call professional?

Hi, apparently the PVC pipe for sprinkler is leaking it has about an inch long crack.(picture attached). I am thinking to cut out the piece and add a new PVC coupling. Is a commercial combi-boiler going to use more energy than a residential one for the same use case?

I've just purchased a home, and want to future proof it by getting a boiler that will see to any and all needs in the future. Currently about to purchase a valliant 48kwh commercial combi-boiler for a 3 bed, 3-bathroom property. Is this unnecessary overkill?
