I’m moving out in a couple weeks and was wondering if anybody had some advice on how to fix this crack. It’s doesn’t appear to have gone all the way through the drywall. We’ve lived in our home for two years, and I recently started data logging the temperatures throughout the house. Basement is coldest, thermostat on the main floor, upstairs north is warmer, but the south facing master is always a few degrees hotter. It is also the tallest room of the house with a vaulted ceiling. Would it make a noticeable difference...

I’m finishing basement ,bought bunch of fiberglass faced insulation, I went to staple it to the joist, and my old home joist are too wide to hold both sides of the paper, (17 inch, instead of typical 16 inch) now I’m stuck on what to do, don’t want to return them again looking for ideas, was thinking of just duct taping it, but would be good to have...
